The river was not with us (or anyone else) this day. Caught several fish, and hooked a really big one. He got off the hook after he jumped about 3ft out of the water. Saw no one catching any fish that day. So I was more than happy with my experience.

Great trip. Jon told me before the trip that the water was high and the fishing slow. He was right the water was high but I still managed to boat some really nice fish. To be honest the scenery was so epic floating El Rio Petrohue that I wouldn't have been disappointed if I hadn't caught a fish. I plan to return and spend more time on the water. We had a great time out on Lake Nahuel Huapi. While our time in the area was windy, Victor worked hard to pick a location that allowed us to have a fun day on the water. He was very knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna and history, pointing out condors and other wildlife as we fished on the lake. A bonus of our trip was that we able to catch a beautiful, huge trophy brown trout. Thanks for a great day on the water, and going the extra mile to ensure we had a good time. The food and beverages were excellent as well.
