OwnerCaptain Cris is a Florida native who has been fishing his whole life. He grew up fishing with his father along the southeast coast and traveling all over the Bahamas and Florida keys. These experiences made him into a professional at live bait and kite fishing. He has won multiple Billfish and IGFA tournaments. Capt.Cris says, "I found fishing not just a hobby, but a way of life." He started fishing professionally right out of high school and worked as a First Mate on a charter boat out of Haulover during college. He made his way up the ladder, eventually earning his captain's license at the age of 21 and becoming the youngest captain to ever run a charter boat out of Haulover. Today he is the owner of avenger charters with over 15 years of experience fishing from Haulover marina.
