Hit by a torpedo in WWII and sunk later after a volcano eruption, it now sits on a sandy slope between 10 meters and 30 meters deep. The shipwreck is approximately 130 meters long and its a suitable for diving for both beginner and advanced divers. The best diving here is early morning or late afternoon / night dives when the chances are highest for spotting the schooling of Humphead Parrotfish. - Coral Garden Located more east from the shipwreck and west of the famous Drop-off, the dive begins with a gentle sandy slope from approximately 2 meters going down to approximately 15-20 meters deep. Coral Garden in Tulamben started as an artificial dive site and is most known for the underwater Buddha statues put there by the local villagers. Coral Garden is a good dive site for macrophotography and well suited for beginner divers as well. It features a diverse tropical marine life with diving surprises each and every day: Ghost Pipe Fish, different types of Nudibranches, etc. - Seraya Secret Seraya Secret is among the best dive sites in Tulamben for macrophography and muck diving, perhaps the best in Bali as well. It is uniquely suitable for night dives with a 10 meters deep black sand bottom, experienced divers can lay here for long stretched bottom times. This is a special dive site for spotting the Mimic Octopus in Bali. - Kubu Kubu village is the host of two Kubu Reef, two easy dive sites perfectly suitable for beginner and experienced divers alike. the dive begins in a shallow coral garden going down a wall with diverse tropical marine life. Generally the currents are easy which often makes these dive sites relaxing drifts. Kubu is also providing one main option for shipwreck diving, the artificial dive site Kubu Wreck, a Japanese ship sunk many years ago which now is the preferred location for the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty.
