Our Boat, the new "Marlin 40" is part of the group of boats called MAXI RIB or a fiberglass hull conceived with new construction techniques of strength and lightness, combined with the safety of the 70 cm diameter tubulars that make the boat unsinkable, much more stable than boats with the classic “V” hull and extremely comfortable thanks to the “walk around” deck concept . There are numerous living areas on board. The two aft sofas convertible into a single sundeck and a forward sofa with dining table as well as a large sundeck bed for 3 people guarantee our guests maximum comfort or comfortable areas in which to enjoy the navigation or the aperitifs served on board. Powered by triple 300 HP Mercury Verados V8 engines, one of the latest generation and with low fuel consumption, it reaches a maximum speed at full load of 56 knots (about 110 km / hour), is 13 meters long overall. While sailing we will be able to admire the majestic and high cliffs of Capo Figari from whose promontory Guglielmo Marconi made the first radio transmission connecting Capo Figari to the Italian peninsula at Rocca di Papa – Rome. Capo Figari and the opposite islet of Figarolo are recognized sites of community importance for their great biodiversity. A path leads to the top of Mount Figari from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Gulf of Olbia, from Capo Ceraso to the island of Tavolara, and from the islands of Soffi and Mortorio to the Costa Smeralda. Rounding Capo Ceraso, we will sail towards the famous “Doctor’s Beach” where we will stop to immerse ourselves in the turquoise waters of the bay shaped by splendid granite and rock formations. Here snorkelers will be able to admire starfish, sea breams, sea breams and lots of marine flora. The small beach frames a fantastic cove with transparent waters and breathtaking colours: a marine aquarium with white sand and granite rocks. The non-binding seabed makes the “Doctor’s Beach” an ideal bay for those who want to enjoy a good swim. The tour then continues towards “Isola Cavalli” and “Isola Piana” to explore the crystal clear waters of these two small but beautiful islands. We now move to the island of Tavolara, a limestone massif overlooking the sea, to anchor in the splendid waters of Cala Spalmatore di Terra for a brunch based on aperitifs, canapés, cold cuts, cheeses and finger food, accompanied by good fresh wine and various drinks. The island with its steep paths deserves a shore excursion and is a must for trekking and free walking enthusiasts. There are paths that allow you to climb along the steep limestone walls, offering amazing and evocative views. The beach is characterized by fine white sand with pink tendencies, the water is transparent green with shades towards blue. The fantastic seabed is sandy and shallow near the shore and deeper offshore, offering a luxuriant marine flora and fauna. Those who wish can take a walk along the long beach to the “Passetto”, a narrow queue of white sand that appears and disappears according to the tides, and stop in one of the various bars – Restored on the beach for an artisanal ice cream. Molara, the last stop of this long day, is an island that is part of the Marine Protected Area of ​​Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo. Its name is most likely due to its circular shape resembling a grindstone. Of a granite nature and less impressive than the nearby island of Tavolara, it is privately owned and cannot be visited. The “Piscine” of Molara are famous, a shallow seabed made up of white sand, characterized by transparent and turquoise waters, in whose waters a last dip will conclude this excursion. These natural pools, very protected and also rich in marine fauna and flora, are one of the major attractions of the marine park. Here there is a long snorkeling stop or simply a swim in the company of a myriad of fish, and then end the day with a glass of fresh wine accompanied by an aperitif based on typical local products, canapés and finger food before turning the bow. towards Olbia where the arrival is expected around 18:00.
