I’m a licensed 100-ton Master Merchant Marine with over 20 years of experience as a captain. Since 1975, I’ve been piloting boats and have had the privilege of cruising and delivering vessels around the globe. As a charter captain and owner of Paradiso Yacht Charters, I operate a diverse fleet of vessels in Newport Beach, California, ranging from a sailboats to a luxurious yachts. I’m also passionate about teaching sailing and vessel handling, certified by insurance companies to train and test new boat owners for insurance qualifications. I love sharing our ocean with others, especially when they get to witness the awe-inspiring sights of dolphins, sea lions, and majestic whales along our beautiful California coastline.

1% refund up to 180 days prior.
Additional Terms & Information
**CANCELLATION POLICY** The yacht is considered booked once funds have been received and a confirmation has been sent to the client. If the client has an issue with the booked time, we offer a one time change of date/time based on availability. If the client is unable to reschedule and must cancel the booking, we offer a 50% refund until 30 days prior to the booking start time. Cancellation within 30 days of the booking date and time will only receive the refund IF the booking date and time is rebooked by another client. Cancellations within 7 days of the booking start time are non-refundable. In the event a Charter is cancelled by the Captain for weather conditions or safety concerns, the client will be allowed to reschedule to an available date/time. In the unfortunate event the Captain must cancel the Charter due to the boat having mechanical issues and/or is not in condition to Charter, the client can either reschedule to an available date/time or receive a full refund. **LATE ARRIVALS** The charter starts at the reserved start time whether everybody has arrived or not. The Party can start at the dock and TikiLa will depart once the host has advised the captain they are ready to go. A Captain and one deckhand is included in the price. You may bring your own food and drinks. General boarding begins 15 minutes prior to charter time. Preboarding for set up of food, decorations, or drinks is permitted up to 30 minutes prior to departure time. The Captain can make stops at public bathrooms along the harbor, or, in case of emergence, there is a port-a-potty onboard. NO SWIMMING OR FISHING, Tikila does not anchor or beach during the tour.
