Any intentional damage or misuse of the yacht's facilities, equipment, or furnishings will result in financial liability for repair or replacement costs. - Crew Authority: - - The captain and crew have full authority over the operation of the yacht and the safety of all passengers on board. Clients must comply with all instructions given by the captain and crew for the duration of the charter. - Well-being of the Boat: - - Clients are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the yacht during the charter period. Excessive littering or damage caused by negligence will result in additional cleaning fees or charges for repair. - Safety Equipment: - - The yacht is equipped with safety equipment including life jackets, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits. Clients must familiarize themselves with the location and proper use of these items. - Alcohol and Drug Policy: - - The consumption of alcohol is permitted on board in moderation, but excessive drinking or intoxication that may jeopardize the safety of passengers or the yacht is strictly prohibited. The crew and captain reserve the right to refrain from serving alcohol to anyone that is deemed to be intoxicated. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at all times. - Environmental Conservation: - - Clients are expected to respect marine life and ecosystems while on board and during any water activities. Disposal of waste and garbage must be done in accordance with environmental regulations and best practices. - Respect for Local Customs: - - Clients must respect local customs, traditions, and laws while visiting ports of call in Jamaica. This includes adhering to dress codes, language etiquette, and cultural sensitivities. - Well-being of Passengers: - - Clients are responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of all passengers on board. Any medical conditions or dietary restrictions should be communicated to the charter company in advance to make necessary accommodations. - Cancellation and Refund Policy: - - Cancellation of a charter booking may result in forfeiture of the deposit or full payment, depending on the timing of the cancellation and the terms outlined in the charter agreement. - In the event of adverse weather conditions that prevent safe navigation, the captain has the authority to cancel the charter and receive a full refund or reschedule for another available date, subject to availability and agreement with the charter company.
