Open Water Diver

During the Open Water Diver course you will learn the basics of Scuba Diving. After certification you'll be trained to dive together with a dive buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meter.

The Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world ! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventures in the underwater world.

The dives:
Besides the 4 open water dives, what is great fun to do and there will be plenty of fishes to see, you will also learn to stay calm if something happens to you, your dive buddy or the dive equipment and solve these problems under water. You'll practice first in very shallow water and only when you feel comfortable and perform the skills without any problems, for certification you'll have to repeat some of these skills in deeper water (min. 5 meters depth)

The theory:
 The theoretical part of the course is watching a video and there's some homework to do.

There will be two classroom sessions; here you will learn how to set up your dive equipment and how to use it, you'll learn the reasons why you have to keep an open airway while breathing under water and why you always need to ascent very slowly after a dive. You'll learn why and how you equalize your ears and sinusses and how to behave safely on the surface and under water with proper buoyancy control. 
Your instructor will also teach you about the aquatic environment and which diving programs you will be able to do after passing the open water course. 

Discover Scuba Diving

The Discover Scuba Diving experience is the best way to find out what scuba diving is like, before you take the full scuba certification.

The minimum age for Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years old but for kids from 8 or 9 years is a Bubble Maker dive possible.
