Cancellation policies 1. Tours a. It is possible to cancel up to 72 hours prior to the tour departure without any charge or use the deposit within 365 days from the original departure date. b. Canceling within 72 hours prior to tour departure results in loss of your deposit. c. When canceling on the same day of the reserved tour, the total amount of the reservation is charged. 2. Catamarans and yachts a. NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 20% of the total quoted amount. b. It is possible to reschedule the departure date if requested 14 or more days before the original date, and it must be within 365 days after the original travel date and subject to availability. c. Failure to cancel and to show up at the specified date and time for the trip will result in the full quoted amount being charged. 3. Cancellation due to port closure a. All departures are subject to favorable weather conditions for navigation. Port Captaincy determines whether the port closure is necessary until further notice. It is only from the moment of that decision that the client can be notified regarding the cancellation or rescheduling of the departure according to the availability of the boat and/or tour. b. Clients will be notified when a possible port closure is identified in the near future so that they can take the necessary measures regarding rescheduling or refund of the deposit (refund only applies for port closure and/or vessel malfunctions that prevent the trip). 4. Deposit refund a. The deposit is only refundable if the trip is canceled due to mechanical breakdowns/failures of the vessel and/or unfavorable weather conditions, the latter is determined by the Port Captaincy. b. If a shared trip does not reach the minimum number of passengers for departure and customers with reservations decide to cancel, instead of paying for the missing passengers, their deposit will be refunded.
