This is an Exciting and truly memorable trip to 3 very different floating villages. We cross the great Tonle Sap Lake we enter the famous fishing village of Prek Toal. Home to very rare and unique large water birds including but not limited to the Milky Stork, Spot-billed Pelicans, Black headed Ibis, Great Adjutant, Great Egret are just some of the rare birds we may encounter as we cruise up the very picturesque Sangkok River, numerous and different ways of fishing can be seen, the way the locals have been fishing for centuries are mainly unchanged and all will be explained on our quick visit to the environmental center, as with all our tours we donate 10% of all profits to the local community in this case its directed to the environmental center as it does great work on educating young school children and locals on sustainable fishing and wildlife and conservation issues, we also visit the flooded forest at Mechhray, paddling through the cool flooded forest is great and very relaxing experience and very tranquil with only the sounds of the paddles stroking the water as the locals navigate the large forest.
