The boat is powered by twin 140 h.p. engines allowing her to run at 40 MPH in 4' seas. She has a clean enclosed head.  Babu's electronics includes Radar, two VHF radios, CB radio, two GPS, plotter, two fishfinders, and an autopilot.  Outriggers and downriggers are frequently used when trolling. Penn, Fin-Nor and Shimano reels are employed exclusively featuring SS series and bait runner spinning reels for light tackle usage and International, GTI, Senator series, and levelmatic reels for trolling. All spinning equipment is spooled with P-line copolymer spectra line, and the trolling equipment line varies from monofilament to wire to lead core. The reels are mounted on Ugly Stick spinning rods and custom trolling, Penn Slammer and Senator conventional rods. We also cater to light tackle enthusiasts.
