Daily Trip from Spetses / Porto Cheli to Dokos and Hydra Islands with Technohull

The tour commences either from Porto Cheli, Spetses Island, or directly from your hotel, provided boat access is permitted. Our journey begins by cruising along the picturesque Porto Heli Peninsula coastline—one of the most captivating stretches of land globally. After a brief 10-minute cruise, we arrive at Dokos Island, known in ancient times as ‘Aperopia,’ nestled between Spetses and Hydra Islands. This uninhabited island holds significant archaeological value and can only be reached by private boat. Here, we pause for a substantial break, as it boasts one of the finest snorkeling spots—an underwater garden teeming with spectacular marine life. For hiking enthusiasts, there’s ample time to explore the ancient ruins by ascending the mountain. Next, we continue our voyage to Hydra Island—a haven for artists where cars are entirely prohibited. Along the way, we’ll stop at its secluded beaches, such as Mira Mare, with crystal-clear blue waters. Donkeys at the port and a remarkable 365 churches dating back to the 18th century evoke a sense of stepping back in time, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Greek islands. We’ll enjoy lunch and take a leisurely break on Hydra until late noon. As we return, the sun sets over Spetses Island, casting a mesmerizing glow on the other side of the island. What To Expect Onboard: The 2022 model of the Technohull Explorer 40 combines cutting-edge design and performance. Explorer 40 boasts a length of 39 feet (approximately 11.9 meters), making it compact yet spacious enough for a variety of activities. The boat comes complete with essential safety gear, including life jackets and emergency flares. It is equipped with an appropriately powerful engine, as well as a secondary auxiliary safety engine. The fuel tanks have a reserve switch, and there’s a portable fuel tank for the secondary engine. Additionally, you’ll find a fire extinguisher, cruising instruments, a compass, and an electronic GPS-Plotter. For visibility, there are cruising lights and mooring lights. Anchoring is made easy with an anchor and mooring lines. The boat also features a swimming platform with a ladder, a radio-CD player, an ice-cooler fridge, and a sun tent. Upon delivery, the boat undergoes thorough checks, is fueled up, and is provided with shower water, regular water, and ice. Additional Services: • The boats can be supplied with food and drinks from the mini market which is located on our premises. Ice supply and ice blocks are available so as to enable the prolonged use of the cooler. • Marine equipment and accessories store is found in our premises with a wide range of marine outfits.
