Michael was an amazing Captain! He was extremely knowledgeable not only about fishing but about the entire area! We learned so much and had such a great time. He took me to scatter my fathers ashes out in the point pleasant ocean at the end and even saved the coordinates so I can always know where we were. I will always book with Michael!!! I grew up on boats. My summer home was on a wooden 32' Pacemaker that my dad owned from the time I was a toddler until my college years. As a teenager, my cousin and I shared a 17' Montauk Boston Whaler which we would take offshore to the extent of its range and do all sorts of fishing. That boat remained in my family long enough to teach my own kids how to fish off of it. For longer tuna and shark trips, I would run my father's 36' Delta and more recently, his 42' Post. My current boat is a Wellcraft 230 Coastal, which is a perfect boat for both inshore fishing in the river as well as wreck and drift fishing at the nearby manmade reefs. A fishing trip with me is meant to be relaxing and fun! My cousin and I always had a saying when we were out on that old Whaler: "When you're out on the water, there are only good days and great days!"

Free cancellation up to 1 day prior to trip You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. I am very lenient on changing dates due to weather or other unforeseen issues. Just reach out and we'll make arrangements. What to bring / not bring Please bring any essentials for your trip including sunscreen, water, lunch, drinks (alcohol allowed in moderation). I will provide safety essentials and any fishing gear that you might not have yourself. There are also many riverside bar / restaurants that I will dock at for you should you choose to do that for lunch (hours docked still count towards total).
