PAYMENT POLICY Deposit/Bonds are fully refunded by Bay Explorer N.Z Ltd if the administration cancels the cruise. Deposit/Bonds are non-refundable if the client cancels unless Bay Explorer N.Z Ltd re-secures the booking with another client. Final cruise payment must be made in full at least 48 hours before the cruise unless otherwise agreed by Bay Explorer N.Z limited. Invoices are available to businesses to pay on supply. If passenger numbers go up on the night there will be an extra charge applicable onboard (the standard per passenger rate), but there will be no refund if the passenger numbers are less. Please note this is non-negotiable as we do have to arrange staff and resources in advance around the number you have booked for. Catering bookings require a 20% non-refundable deposit. HEALTH and SAFETY We will provide a safe environment on board provided that you and your guests adhere to the safety rules and guidelines of the crew and execute common sense. As our services provide a unique venue on the water, we strictly adhere to a “no exit from the vessel policy” unless directed by the crew. HOST RESPONSIBILITY Our host responsibility objectives are to promote responsible drinking practices and to ensure you enjoy your cruise. We are required to operate within the law of the Sale of Liquor Act 2012. We have the right to exclude intoxicated persons boarding the vessel or the service and supply of alcohol. We will serve alcohol responsibly, or not at all. We will not serve intoxicated persons, we will not serve minors. Identification may be asked for. We can provide and will promote food whilst drinking. We can provide and will promote low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks to passengers. We provide access to transport options. The staff will gladly contact a taxi or alternative form of transport. This is for your safety, please help by informing your guests before arrival.
