Kayak Fishing in Dana Point or Oceanside, CA

It's time to take your kayak fishing experience to the next level! Book a kayak fishing adventure for as low as $200 per day. I am an avid saltwater kayak fisherman and I have been fishing from my kayak for about eight years now. I have extensive experience and knowledge in the Dana Point and Oceanside areas. I am a licensed guide with the California DFW. My kayak is a Hobie PA17t, it seats two people, uses pedal rather than paddles, it is very large and stable. It is equipped with a sonar/GPS navigation unit, reclining seats, fishing pole holders and a live well for bait (usually sardines). The most common species of fish you will catch are Barred Sand Bass, Calico Bass and Halibut. In the morning we'll launch the kayak out of Dana Point or Oceanside harbor, grab some live bait from the bait receiver and head out of the harbor and go fishing along the coast. We will return to the harbor in the afternoon. The trip includes fishing Poles, tackle and bait.... Some items are recommended to bring: • Light jacket • Sun screen • Hat • Camera • Long sleeve shirt and long leg pants for sun protection. • Socks, in case you like being barefoot, shoes can get a little uncomfortable. • Seasickness remedy, it won’t be a very good trip if you get sick. • Snacks • Water/Soda (No Alcohol please) If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay.
