This trip is designed for the angler who wants to fish for a few hours before the day begins, or just try fishing for the first time. We have light tackle to add to the excitement. Capt. Matthew will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, etc. depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning. Your fishing adventure starts on a well-equipped 24’ Hydra Sport boat with a brand new Yamaha 250 and space for up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor. Captain Matt also provides his customers with as much safety gear as he can and this ranges from 2 VHF radios (one handheld), two EPIRBs, a 4-man life raft, and a 48-mile radar that is accompanied by XM satellite weather for instant notification of anything that might try to come your way. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
