I am 24 years old and recently graduated with a degree in Marine Technology in Wilmington, NC. I bought my first boat when I was 19 and regularly run to the nearshore reefs to fish. Originally, I am from Chapel Hill, but I have been visiting Oak Island for as long as I can remember. With the knowledge gained through my course of study, I was well prepared to take the USCG MMC course and become a licensed captain. Additionally, I have spent numerous nights offshore aboard the RV Cape Hatteras, conducting Hydrographic surveys.
