Enjoy exciting rafting tour on the Mohaka and Waipunga river in Te Haroto for as low as $110 per person for 2 hours. Rates: • Grade 2 Scenic Rafting (2 hours): $110 • Grade 2 Scenic Rafting (Full day): $180 • Grade 3 Scenic Rafting: $180 per person • Rafting Fishing Trip (2.5 hours): $300 per person All rates per person. Cruise ship option including transfers and food. What YoU Can Expect: The Mohaka and Waipunga contain several stretches that will appeal to those primarily interested drifting through serene surroundings, listening to birdsong and the sound of the river, but also running some rapids to add to the experience – Grade 2 water with occasional Grade 3. The middle section of the lower river provides just the opposite. There is over 20 km of Grade 3 to 5 rapids, combining great scenery with challenging white water. We offer a day trips on Grade 3 water with take-out points either at the Department of Conservation’s Everetts campsite or further downstream at the confluence of the Mohaka and Te Hoe Rivers. What to bring • Sunscreen, sun-hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, etc • Clothing to suit cold and/or rainy weather. A change of clothing is recommended. • A dry bag for personal items that will be damaged by water. • Fishing and firearms licenses and hunting permits, as applicable. • Other items as advised at the time of booking.

Our company was registered in 2016. Behind the new company is 30 years of rafting experience. Owner, Deon Warren, has lived in the area and worked as a rafting guide, on his own account and in association with Mountain Valley Lodge, since 1990.He has drifted the river hundreds of times, with many different anglers, and his knowledge of the fishery is unsurpassed.The company is Maritime NZ certified and a member of the New Zealand Rafting Association.We take your health and safety seriously and therefore, in adverse conditions, trips are run at our discretion.
