Additional features include cruise control, a depth finder, dual anchors, and watersports towing capabilities. Please note that the depth finder alarm is set to sound at 3 feet; do not start the boat in less than 3 feet of water to avoid damage. Cooler and sandcastle toys are available for free upon request (limited availability). WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED Fuel is not included (per Florida law) and will be charged to your card after the trip. We do fill up at the gas station and not the marina — giving you the best price on fuel. Fuel costs typically range from $50-$80 per 4-hour rental. Water toys, including an inflatable 7-ft slide, tow tube, wakeboard, water skis, paddleboard, and a 10x10 pop-up tent, are available for an additional fee. Captains and guides are also available at an extra cost, with captains priced at $50-$60 per hour and guides at $30-$40 per hour. Tips are not included but are always appreciated. DEPARTURE LOCATION Delivery is available to locations such as Tampa, Tarpon Springs, and St. Pete for an additional fee. OTHER THINGS TO KNOW Check-in is required 20 minutes before departure for parking and a safety briefing. If you were born after 1988, you must complete a 25-question online boating safety test before renting. Florida law requires children aged 6 and under to wear a life vest at all times. If you need a captain, the boat's total capacity is 9 people, meaning you can bring 8 adults. For groups with children, weight limits apply. Small animals are welcome; please inquire about larger pets. Smoking is not allowed onboard but is permitted on islands or in the water. Rentals require a minimum booking of 4 hours. Long- and short-term rentals are available, with discounted rates for weekly rentals. A waiver will be emailed on the morning of your rental and must be completed before boarding. - TIPS AND TRICKS When returning, remember "red right return"—keep the red marker on your right. - Never leave the boat unattended on an island, as changing tides could leave you stranded. - Have lines ready and someone prepared to catch the dock when docking. - Be mindful of no-wake zones near marinas, bridges, and homes. - If stopped by authorities, present your bareboat rental agreement. - When docking, account for tide changes. - For GPS and speed tracking, use the WAVVE BOATING app. PLEASE NOTE No discounts or refunds will be given if any last-minute technical issues occur with the stereo or other electronics, but the boat remains mechanically sound and operable. Saltwater conditions can sometimes cause unexpected malfunctions, but we do our best to keep all boats in excellent working order. IMPORTANT - optional renters insurance is available. Please inquiry if you would like to purchase optional renters insurance. Fuel is not included and will be charged at the end of the trip per Florida law. Captains are available for hire at $50–$60 per hour.

I am excited to be a part of the GetMyBoat boating solution that's making boats more accessible and affordable to others. My goal is to share my love for the water and boating with others! I was blessed to grow up with the gulf as my backyard. My brother at 10 and I at age 8 received our first boat to cruise around the gulf. I’ve owned boats my entire life and sometimes feel like I spend more time on the water than on land! My grandfather was a commercial fisherman, diver and professional sailor his entire life! The water is huge part of my family's lives and we are truly blessed to share it with others!! See you soon!
You’ll get directions to the departure location when you make a booking.
Full refund up to 7 days prior.
When you charter my boat, you will need to sign a bareboat charter agreement. Please google and understand your rights as a bareboat charter. For one, you have to pay for you own fuel by law. I will send a receipt and fuel will be deducted from your deposit. You receive the boat full. No worries, my boat is fuel friendly. Please keep in mind, If you max out a boat with passengers, it will not perform like normal. Captains are included in the max capacity rating so you if need a captain and the boat has a max of 12, you can have you plus 10 more guests. Also, by law, if you would like to hire a captain, you will need to select your own captain; we will send you a contact list of certified captains who are familiar with our boats for you to choose from or you can hire through a website resource that we will provide once you book the boat : ) just so you know, you have the choose to hire anyone to operate the boat under bareboat law, even a friend or friend of a friend! I require everyone to have multiple years of experience to operate my boats so make sure to brush up on your boating lingo and laws, YOUTUBE is a great source for refresher videos : ) Please review the FWC motor boat rental safety sheet in your contract. If you have already paid for a captain and booked your reservation, the captain portion will be refunded through the website. By law, you will need to directly pay for your captain after the charter has ended. Typically, captain fees are $50 per hour unless the captain has indicated differently prior to the day of your charter. If you had a great experience, please don’t forget to tip your captain like you would tip a waitress or waiter 15-20% of your bill. We hope you have a great day on the water! By law, under a bareboat charter agreement, you have to hire and choose your captain directly. ***Please keep in mind this is a peer to peer boat sharing platform. Boat owners like myself are providing a much needed solution because there are not enough rental boats on the market for people to enjoy the lifestyle we love, so we make our personal boats available using a bareboat charter agreement; if you not familiar with a bareboat charter agreement, please google and do your research prior to booking. You will need to sign our bareboat agreement prior to boarding : ) We do our best to deliver the boat of your choice as well as cater to your requested start time. However, during periods of high demand such as weekends and holidays, we may need to switch your boat type and time. If we were to switch your boat, it would be if equal value to your original request or upgraded for free. Your start time may fluctuate an hour or two as well but we always give you more time on the backend of your reservation to make up for lost time. Additionally, we may need to move the meeting location; we will give plenty of notice. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding! Updated bad weather policy… Due to Florida’s unpredictable weather, we are offering a rescheduling program if needed. You will be able to reschedule and receive a credit for up to one year after your reservation date. Additionally, scattered showers are typical for Florida boaters in summer; it’s the lightning and wind that we don’t want ; ) We hope for good weather and happy boating! ADDITIONAL FEES YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PAY A $150 CANCELLATION FEE IF YOU MISS THE CANCELLATION PERIOD. CLEANING FEE OF $50 if you leave your trash on the boat. AGE REQUIREMENTS You have to be 21 or older to rent a boat. If you were born before 1988, you are not required to have a boaters safety license. However, if it’s been awhile, we recommend a refresher! You will need to take a 25 question multiple choice test online that usually takes people 20-30 minutes to pass : ) Please use the link below to take your test: https://boattests101.com/united-states/florida/florida-rental?mcid=3n-VutdN All children ages 6 and under need to wear a life vest at all times per Florida law. DAMAGE POLICY If the vessel sustains any damages due to inappropriate use or operator error, the renter will be charged for all repairs, towing (if applicable).
