DAY 1- Dinner in Weligama Bay 

4 pm departure from Mirissa harbor to enjoy a swim and a stunning sunset sheltered and secluded spot in the beautiful Weligama Bay. Dinner on board, served under the stars. 

DAY 2 - Whale Watching 

The crew sets sail before dawn to peacefully reach the magnificent cetaceans as they emerge to delight our guests. Feast on a cooked hot breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and exquisitely blended local Ceylon tea or coffee. At noon the yacht will arrive in the historic Bay of Galle where lunch will be served onboard. In the afternoon, guests will visit the beautifully restored and lively Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its sophisticated shops and restaurants. Dinner

DAY 3 -Water Sports 

Following an invigorating breakfast, the yacht sails to Weligama. Guests can swim, snorkel, sunbathe or stand-up paddle board before lunch. Guests will disembark at Mirissa harbor after lunch, at 1 pm.

DAY 1 - Weligama

Set sail at 4 pm from Mirissa Fisheries harbour on board our 53' catamaran into the sunset. Guests can swim, paddle board in Weligama bay. Dinner is served on board, in the seclusion of the red cliff of Weligama.

DAY 2 - Sunrise & Water Activities

Awake at sunrise and enjoy a cooked hot breakfast and local fresh fruits and leisurely cruise taking in the sights of the Giants of the ocean. Lunch is served at noon as beach where guests can enjoy swimming and paddle boarding. Guests will be back in Mirissa Harbour to get off board.

What You Can Expect:

At 3.00 pm the crew sets sails off the coast of Mirissa to enjoy the beauty of sunset

The above price includes a welcome drink and freshly cooked snacks

on the way back to the coast, guests are welcome to enjoy a swim in the warm waters of this tropical region or a stand-up paddle-boarding session at sunset.

On the large sundeck in front guests can choose between the trampoline or homemade sunbeds for relaxing and sun tanning.

The upper deck is spacious and contains additional sunbeds and a seating area. Half of the deck can be covered from the sun if desired. The sunbeds can be removed to accommodate large groups and parties. During parties, the upper deck becomes a dance floor and the lower deck is used as a chilling area



3- Hour Sunset Cruise in Mirissa, Sri Lanka (No bareboat charter) - Shared

This is a 07 hour sea excursion that departs from the harbor in Mirissa daily from October to April on a shared boat

Ideal for families, small groups, and friends. Sail Lanka offers a perfect balance of whale watching and water sports in a 7-hour adventure that is certain to please even the most discerning sailor.

Whale Watching

At 6.30 am, departure towards the whales. Along the way, our chef serves a freshly prepared breakfast

When whales are sighted guests are invited to the bow and upper decks for the best viewing of these incredible creatures.

Water Activities

After enjoying the whales we head towards Weligama Bay, where the yacht anchors to enjoy swimming & stand up paddle boarding

If the guests are interested we can provide fishing rods as well

7 Hour Shared Whale Waching Cruise in Mirissa, Sri Lanka (No bareboat charter)

AVAILABLE FROM NOVEMBER TO APRIL EACH YEAR

DAY 1-Welcome on board

Board at 4 p.m. in the picturesque and colourful Mirissa Fisheries Harbour. A short cruise, takes guests into the stunning Weligama Bay, where they can relax with a welcome drink and a dinner on board under the stars.

DAY 2-Dutch Fort of Galle

Breakfast on board. Our captain sets sail to Jungle Beach, in Galle. Guests can take a dinghy to the beach and the crew will arrange for a walking tour of the Dutch colonial fort city of Galle recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage. Dinner and night anchorage near Jungle Beach.

DAY 3-Sailing towards Tallala

After a good breakfast, sail towards Tallala. Swim and sunbathe on the beautiful Tallala beach. Optional visit to a local fish or fruit market. Dinner and night at Tallala beach.

DAY 4-Day at Kudawella

Breakfast on board followed by sailing towards the yet virgin and preserved beaches of Kudawella. Visit to fisheries villages and local temples can be organised. Lunch on board followed by a relaxing swim and a stand-up paddle boarding session. Fish or seafood dinner under the stars.

DAY 5-Tangalle Golden Beaches

After breakfast, and a good swim we sail toward Tangalle and Dickwella. On-shore option of being taken by dinghy to Hiriketiya and Mawella beaches for a relaxing walk or a good swim in the warm tropical waters. If weather permits guests can enjoy a BBQ dinner on shore.

DAY 6-Whale watching

Early departure towards the coast of Dondra and Mirissa to observe the many species of Whales, including the world’s largest Mammal the Blue Whale and playful dolphins of the Indian Ocean. Breakfast and lunch are served during the cruise. Afternoon on the relaxing beach of Mirissa for a swim, a stand-up paddle boarding session or a surf session. Sunset drinks and beach BBQ dinner at a secluded private beach in Weligama.

DAY 7-Return to Mirissa harbour

 The boat returns to Mirissa Fisheries harbour at 10 a.m., after breakfast.
