We offer different activities. You can either just rent a boat and paddle under the Bridge on our supervised navigation area or choose to do the descent. The descent is 8 kilometers long and lasts around 1hr30. After meeting up, we drive you to the starting point north of the Barthelasse Island where you will embark. After giving you some advice, you will descend the Rhône until you reach the Avignon Bridge, discovering the city of Avignon in a peaceful and wonderful experience. We also propose accompanied trips by night: Equipped with headlamps and accompanied by a qualified instructor, go on an adventure by canoeing to awaken your senses. A magnificent panorama of the illuminated Cité des Papes will emerge before you. Over the water, discover the flora and fauna of the river. The Rhone and its surroundings welcome a diverse life, making it attractive navigation. Explore the riches of this river universe. Rentals are done according to the selected activity. Payment will be done at the time of rentail SAFETY : Article 1 : Canoes are rented to be used by 1 to 3 person maximum. We allow children under 9 on canoes of 3 persons. Anyone embarking with a child under 9 on their boat will do so with full responsibility. Article 2 : Lifejackets are mandatory. Anyone who refuses to wear their lifejacket will do so with their full responsibility. We can stop their activity at all times without any reimbursement possible. Article 3 : Renters commit to navigating exclusively on the navigation area and/or on the downriver canoeing trip, visible on maps (at reception) and mentioned at the start of activities. Article 4 : Renters must know and follow safety rules mentionned at the start of their activities. Know how to swim for at least 25 meters with one submersion Wear the lifejacket provided Follow the safety rules and navigation area Do not go far from your canoe if it rolls over Yield for other boats Article 5 : All activities done on our boats (for example : swimming) are not our resposibility and will not be surveilled. Article 6 : In case of bad weather or insufficient water levels, the renter may cancel, stop or reschedule the booking. Invoicing and outstanding amounts will be dealt with on a case by case basis. EQUIPMENT : Article 7 : Rented equipements are fit for navigation as jointly observed at the start of activities. Article 8 : Renters are responsible for their boats and equipments for the lenght of their booked activity. Article 9 : Renters have to return all equipments at the end of the activity. If they are damaged or missing, fees may be charged. Article 10 : If equipments have been lost, researches may be organised. Relating fees or the retrieval of the equiment to the renter are charged to the client. Article 11 : Renters are free to book any type of activity and for however long they would like. For rentals «Under the Avignon Bridge», prices for any additional time are mentionned at reception and on the contract. Late fees will be charged every half hour. Article 12 : The contract binds every person listed on the contract. CANCELLING : Article 13 : In case of cancelling, deposits will not be refunded. Article 14 : Groups : if the number of participants is less than agreed upon, a minimum of 7 persons will still be charged. PERSONAL PROPERTY : Article 15 : We are not responsible for the loss, theft or damages of property left at our reception. Article 16 : Any object brought with you on your boat or paddle is your responsibility. Containers are not always entirely waterproof. IMAGE RIGHTS : Article 17 : Photos and videos may be taken during your activity, and used for the CD84 FFCKSP internal or external communication (press media, social networks, flyers, website, posters).
