Boat Rental Terms and Conditions These Boat Rental Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") are entered into between the boat rental company (the "Company") and the individual(s) renting the boat (the "Renter") collectively referred to as the "Parties". By renting a boat from the Company, the Renter agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions stated below: Rental Eligibility: a. The Renter must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. b. The Renter must provide accurate personal information, including contact details and identification, as requested by the Company. Boat Usage: a. The Renter agrees to use the boat solely for recreational purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. b. The Renter shall not operate the boat under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or any other substances impairing judgment. c. The Renter shall not allow any unauthorized person to operate the boat. Safety and Liability: a. The Renter acknowledges and agrees that boating involves inherent risks, and the Company shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the Renter's use of the boat. b. The Renter agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the Company, including the proper use of safety equipment and adherence to boating guidelines. c. The Renter agrees to be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings brought onto the boat. Rental Period: a. The rental period shall commence at the agreed-upon time and date and terminate at the agreed-upon time and date. b. The Renter agrees to return the boat to the designated drop-off location in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear. c. Late returns may incur additional charges, calculated on a pro-rata basis. Reservation and Cancellation: a. The Renter may reserve a boat in advance by providing a deposit or full payment, as required by the Company. b. Cancellations made by the Renter within a specified timeframe may result in a partial or full refund, subject to the Company's cancellation policy. Insurance: a. The boat may be covered by insurance provided by the Company, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. b. The Renter shall be responsible for any deductibles, damages, or losses not covered by the insurance policy. Indemnification: a. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the Renter's use of the boat. Termination: a. The Company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the boat in the event of non-compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: a. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction].
