PADI Open Water Diver certificate — it’s your pass to the amazing world of diving. For ฿12500 per person/course The practical part of the course will be conducted on Koh Tao as there are no dive sites around Koh Samui. For your convenience and to save time on transfers between Koh Samui and Koh Tao we have included in the course price the cost of your stay on Koh Tao for the duration of training. The cost of the course includes: — Transfer Samui — Koh Tao — Samui — Accommodation on Koh Tao for the duration of study (2 night) — Training materials — International PADI Diver Certificate — Equipment rental — Tea, coffee, fruits and light snacks on our dive boat — Logbook (personal diver’s book to log your dives) What does your training for PADI Open Water Diver course include? Theoretical part You can start your theoretical studies on Koh Samui, where you will receive educational materials in advance and all the necessary instructions to use them. You will need to read through 5 chapters of the PADI Open Water Diver manual, which can be supplemented by watching 5 parts of the training video. After that you will need to complete 5 knowledge reviews, 4 quizzes and a final exam relating to the 5 chapters you studied. Practical part Practice includes 5 confined water sessions*. During those sessions you will master basic safe scuba diving and equipment setup skills under the guidance of the PADI Instructor. The next 2 days you will complete 4 dives in the open water, demonstrating previously learned skills in conditions that replicate real dives. At the end of each dive you will take an underwater excursion and enjoy the underwater world of tropical coral reefs. *Confined water is a general term that refers to either a swimming pool or an open water site that offers swimming pool-like conditions with respect to clarity, calmness, and depth. It has both shallow water and water sufficiently deep to allow student divers to meet all skill performance requirements.

PADI Open Water Diver course schedule on Koh Samui You will begin to study the theoretical part of the course on Koh Samui, where 1–2 days before the beginning of the course you will receive study materials and all the necessary instructions. First day: 6:30 am — 7:15 am: Transfer (minivan) from your hotel to the Lomprayah pier 8 am — 10 am: High-speed catamaran ferry from Samui to Koh Tao 10 am — 10:15 am: Meeting with your instructor on Koh Tao 10:15 am: Departure on our dive boat to one of the Koh Tao dive sites to perform the training dives (departure time may vary) 10:15 am — 11 am: Briefing before the dive, introduction to dive equipment and practice assembling and disassembling 11 am — 12:00 pm: Skills practice in confined water 12 pm — 1 pm: Lunch on the dive boat, rest, briefing before the dive 1 pm — 2 pm: Skills practice in confined water 3 pm: Return to Koh Tao, accommodation check in, free time 4 pm — 5:30 pm: Theory part (watching Open Water training video, knowledge review and quiz check) Second day: 10 am: Departure on our dive boat to one of the Koh Tao dive sites to perform the training dives (departure time may vary) 10:30 am — 11 am: Briefing before the dive.
