We are avid boaters and want you to have a great time on the water—there is no better way to spend a day! We are also a family business and our boats are our income. For that reason we have the following policies for our rental customers: Boat is docked in East Jordan, Michigan on Lake Charlevoix. Rentals will begin and end at that location. if you need a rental of 4 or more consecutive days, we can work out delivery to another lake. For multi-day rentals, you will return the boat each day to the dock in East Jordan unless you have a dock or morning ball of your own to use for the duration of the rental. Half day (approx. 9 am-1 pm or 2-6 pm): $300 Full day (approx. 9 am - 6 pm): $480 Multi-day rate: $425/day for rentals of 5 or more days 2. You may cancel with 5 or more days’ advanced notice and receive 90% of your fee refunded. 3 or 4 days’ notice, 50% refund. Less notice than 3 days, our ability to rent the boat is very low and there is no refund. 2. Weather: If there is a small craft advisory for the lake of intended use (not including Lake Michigan), you may cancel the rental by 9 am local time the day of the rental with 100% refund. Any later, our chance to rent the boat for that day is significantly diminished. If not canceled by that time, no refund will be issued. 3. The boat will have a full tank of marine/rec fuel. The boat should be returned with a full tank of marine/rec fuel. Alternatively, if you do not return with a full tank you will be charged a flat fee of $50 for fuel use. 4. We will do a pre and post-rental inspection together. Any damages will be charged to the renter. We take care of our equipment and ask that you care for the boat so that others may enjoy a boat in good condition for their fun time on the water.
