2 hours at sea with your own skipper and powerboat! Our fully customized boating experiences cover all must see and do at sea in Muscat including the following enhancement experiences: - Dolphin watching (minimum 2 hours) The sea around Muscat is rich in life due to its location and seasonal cold-water currents that keep our corals healthy and our seas are full of life. Dolphins hunt and travel along the coast of Oman from Musandam to Salalah, and Muscat has a fair share of sightings of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and common dolphins. That is in addition to sightings of Whale Sharks (from May to October), false killer Whales, and occasional sightings of Humpback Whales Orcas, and less commonly Arabian and Blue Whales. We do our best to get you to experience wildlife watching in a responsible manner to help protect our resident Dolphins and all other natural and human assets. - Coastal Tour (Minimum 1-2 hours) The coast of Muscat features rocky faces, fishing villages, historical forts, and watchtowers. These date to the period between 1507 and 1650 during the Portuguese control of Muscat's coast. Due to the location on trade routes conflicts between Portugal, Britain, and the Sultanate of Muscat rulers, left many historical structures to observe on this tour. Additionally, the tour also included more current cultural structures, such as Al Alam Palace, Al Bahar Street, and Souq Mutrah. Your cruise will then offer you a full view of the sun setting behind the rocky faces above Al Bahar Street. - Fishing experience (Minimum 1 hour) We offer fishing experience with local Omani anglers to experience the local culture of our neighboring villages and their local techniques. Our fishing captains are all from the nearby villages and they hold a wealth of knowledge about the local fisheries, their behavior, and seasons. On this fishing experience, we offer trolling techniques as an introduction to fishing around Muscat. - Snorkeling (Minimum 1 hour) The Omani coastline has many rocky faces and wadis and is described as the “Omani Fjords”. Amongst these Fjords are many quiet and naturally protected spaces for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and SUP board use. On this experience, we have picked a snorkeling site that is shallow, rich in colorful corals, and green and hawksbill turtles year-round. You might need to bring: Sun protection to suit your need. Please consider coral-friendly options, to help us preserve the coral.
