For beginners we offer the PADI discover scuba diving course. It is a short two to four hour course where you take a class, familiarize your self with the equipment and try them out in shallow water. After we are certain that you are comfortable in the water we take you out on the boat for your very first dive. For certified divers we can offer you courses to help you advance in your skill level starting from Open Water Diver all the way up to Dive Master, or we can also take you out on fun dives. One dive trips last about 2 hours including travel time and two tank dives would be approximately four hours long. Based on your skill level we can offer about 34 dive sites located around Kaafu Atoll. Discover Scuba Diving This is an introduction to scuba diving that beginners can take. It is not required in order to become certified as an open water diver, but if you would like to, the course serves as a way to familiarize yourself with the equipment and techniques before doing the open water course. We provide guests with their own copy of materials and at the end of the course they will receive a certificate for completion of the course. Dives are conducted both in the lagoon and out on a boat and the entire course takes about four to six hours to complete. Open Water Diver This is an entry-level full diver certification for scuba diving. Course fee includes all the books, materials, certification card and other necessary items to get fully certified as a PADI Open Water Diver. This is the first course to make you an independent diver and its certification is valid for a lifetime. It allows you to go down 18 meters and the course is completed in five days. Advanced Open Water Diver Completing PADI Advance Open Water allows you to go as deep as 30 meters. This is an introduction to specialties in diving; you do five dives with different objectives. This course takes three days to complete and requires the open water diver certification as a prerequisite. Emergency First Response This is a basic Primary and Secondary Care Course, which teaches you to deal with marine life injuries and other major problems. It teaches you what you can do to someone that has been in an accident before emergency medical service personnel arrives and can takeover, such as CPR, setting up and monitoring oxygen. The course duration is one day. Rescue Diver A Rescue Course is by far the most enjoyable main courses out there. It teaches you how to be a safe responsible diver and how to help others in need. It also brings the EFR course into the water and can be completed in five days. Dive Master Dive Master is the first professional level in diving. The Dive Master course teaches you how to be a leader in diving and how to be an independent diver that can also help others in need. Once the course is completed a Dive Master is allowed to lead certified divers as a guide on dive sites and also can be an assistant to the instructor during courses. The Dive Master course is completed within three to four months.
