The Charleston Harbor is a magical and historic place filled with iconic landmarks and Dolphins! On this tour we will explore everything the harbor has to offer! Our years of experience of working on the water in the inlets of Folly Beach has prepared us to bring a unique experience to downtown Charleston. While most downtown tour boats are churn and burn, stiff, we like to think of ourselves as loose, impulsive and adventurous! We can focus on the historic downtown waterways or we can zip out of the harbor in search of nature and tranquility. Some tours ride around hoping to see dolphins, we go looking for them! Departure Location Our tour starts and stops from the Seabreeze Marina which is located almost directly under the majestic Ravenel Bridge. The marina features a fancy ship store, The Island Cabana Bar, with amazing food, boat drinks, bathrooms and a spectacular view! From the store it’s a short walk to the boat where we will quickly zip out into the harbor. The Tour Starting and stopping near the Ravenel Bridge means that the bridge will be ever present as an iconic landmark for the tours. It also makes a super scenic backdrop from pictures! We might go under it a few times. While cruising the harbor we will pass the SC Aquarium, the Spirit Of South Carolina, Castle Pinckney, The Pineapple Fountain, Rainbow Road, The USS Yorktown all while dodging the giant container ships that are constantly coming and going. Note: We have to check them because sometimes the dolphins like to ride the bow wakes of these massive ships! We also have the ability to cruise upriver to find nature spots without the hustle and bustle of downtown. When it gets hot, we do have the option to find a spot and go for a swim. The tour is not set in stone and we can be very adaptable. BYOB, we will provide a cooler with ice.
