Mombasa Yacht Club has stood on the shores of the Kilindini Harbour for more than 110 years. For dinghy sailors the weather offers 360+ days of sailing in almost perfect conditions. Blue water, sunshine, good winds, racing every Saturday and Sunday a wonderful social environment with people of common interests. East African Sailing Industries Ltd. (EASI Sailing) manages the club and offers dinghy hire to members and non-members. throughout the year. With a stock of more than 50 dinghies we are able to cater to people aged from 5yrs to 80yrs We also teach sailing (as per the World Sailing and RYA standards) Courses may be booked either with accommodation or daily from your accommodation. experienced sailors are welcome to join the racing on the weekends and competent skippers are available for those who feel they need someone experienced in the boat with them. For all hires racing or cruising a rescue boat is on the water if needed.

Sailing is in a restricted area as designated in your safety brief on the day Life jackets are included and MUST be worn at all times. This boat is a trapeze boat and if you require trapeze there will be a USD5.00 for the trapeze Please note this is WET sailing so bring a change of clothes and shoes.
