Explore the birthplace of sailing aboard Serendipity! We are a 45 Ft sailing vessel equipped with USCG Captain and Crew! Enjoy custom destination sails around Newport and Block Island. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day at sea, celebrating a special event, or just enjoying the New England Summer, we are happy to be your guide. We've partnered with some awesome locally owned businesses and are happy to offer our guests mocktails and charcuteries from our partners (for an additional fee), but we'll have it waiting for you aboard if you order in advance. Feel free to BYOB, bring a towel, and a light jacket as sometimes the evenings get chilly. We are conveniently located in the Newport Harbor moorings as well as the Pond moorings in Block Island. This makes getting to us easy via the local launch service. We will send more details when you book. Book for half-days, full-days, or sunset sails for up to 6 people. Minimum age of 12. Please let us know if you have any mobility issues. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Captain Candace, Captain Don and Stephanie were an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. Capt. Candace was very easy to communicate with and worked to accommodate our age diverse group. Great directions and instructions as to how to find the boat, the boat was in pristine condition and VERY comfortable accommodations for our sail. Captain Don and Stephanie were very clear about safety first at all times, very knowledgable sailers and wonderful tour guides and historians when the wind was not working with us. We could not have asked for anything more - the boat and the crew are top notch. We hope to have the opportunity to sail with Candace and crew again. Our sailing experience was the highlight of our trip to Newport.

Candace is an amazing host & captain and her boat is absolutely beautiful! The space in the back was more than enough room for our bachelorette party of 6. She lets us BYOB, food, and connect to her bluetooth to play our own music. Not to mention her crew mate Stephanie was also more than happy to be our personal photographer the whole time lol!! 100% recommend sailing with Serendipity Sailing we had SO much fun!

Full refund up to 5 days prior.
Additional Terms & Information
The captain selects the best route for the day based on the tide and wind conditions. Any lightening or pending storm in the area will result in a delay at the dock or potential cancellation, at the captain’s discretion. In the result of a weather cancellation, we will first offer you to reschedule, but if not possible we will refund your full purchase. We want to sail just as much as you, but your safety is our first priority. All sails have a maximum capacity of 6 guests per US Coast Guard Regulations. This includes children. No exceptions. Guests can BYOB within moderation, but the Captain reserves the right to reject boarding any passengers who arrive or become overly intoxicated. Captain also reserves the right to disembark any passengers who do not heed safety instructions/ requests made for guests safety while aboard. In such cases, no refund will be issued. Minimum age to sail is 12. If you have younger children please contact us before booking. Please make us aware of any impediments you may have to moving about the boat, for your safety. We do have stairs!
