Charter Mahalo, our 35' sailing yacht in Sausalito, California. We have many years of experience and an accumulation of over 200,000 ocean miles. Let us show you the beauty and thrill of sailing in San Francisco Bay. Your journey begins in Sausalito with easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Angel Island, the San Francisco waterfront, and more. We strive to meet your desires; each trip can be as exciting, relaxing or romantic as you wish. You can actively participate in sailing the boat or relax and enjoy the sights. Food & Beverages: you are welcome to bring food and beverages to enjoy on your trip. Keep in mind that we don't allow liquor or red wine (white wine, beer, and seltzers are okay), and for food simpler is better - ideally food you can eat with one hand. There are utensils and cups/bowls available on the boat. Clothing: please wear soft-soled shoes such as tennis shoes; no high heels, leather soles, or cowboy boots. At times it can get cool and windy on the bay, so we recommend long pants, long sleeves, a sweatshirt and a windbreaker just in case. It's better to bring more layers than you need than too few, there is plenty of storage on the boats for extra gear. For winter or evening trips dress extra warmly. We have blankets available but you're welcome to bring your own. Directions: Mahalo is located in Basin #4 of Clipper Harbor Marina, Sausalito. The address of the marina is: 310 Harbor Drive, Sausalito, CA 94966. To get to where the boat is docked in the Marina, please follow these directions: When you get to the end of Harbor Drive, go through the gate and follow the road left (north) through the parking lots. You will pass the 400 building with blue awnings on your left. Past that is KKMI boatyard with a green fence. After the stop sign there will be a small building in the center of the parking lot. Past that is the Basin 4 gatehouse. This is the vicinity where you should park. When you arrive at Basin 4, give us a call and the captain will come open the gate.

Let us show you the beauty and thrill of a San Francisco Sailing Charter. Mahalo is a professionally- maintained yacht that sails very well in all conditions. We sail out of Sausalito with easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Angel Island and the San Francisco waterfront. Each trip can be as exciting, relaxing or romantic as you want. You can actively participate in sailing the boat or simply enjoy the ride. There is a 3 hour minimum on trips. The price includes tax but not gratuity for the crew (usually 20% like a restaurant). We are a professional company with highly competent and experienced captains. We are licensed, insured and Coast Guard certified.

90% refund of offer amount up to 7 days prior.

If you need to change the day/time of your trip, give us as much notice as you can and we are happy to move the day of your trip, or give you a gift certificate for the full amount of your trip to be used for a future trip. There is no charge for these services. If your trip is canceled due to weather (rain, etc.) at the captain's discretion, we will reschedule, issue a gift certificate or refund the full amount (we will pay the fees). We will keep in touch with you if there is rain in the forecast. Because the weather often changes quickly, we typically wait until the last minute to cancel for bad weather. If it is a day with just a little bit of rain or chance of sprinkles, we may keep the trip going – we can chat with you before the trip to make sure that the trip will be successful. For cancelations, if done at least 7 days before the trip we will charge you a small fee (10%) of the trip price. This charge covers the costs, the credit card fees, and our time to set up the trip. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, there is a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel within 24 hours of the trip the cancellation fee is 100%.
