Children can learn the basics of Surfing on one of our Kids Surf Lessons on the the beautiful My Khe beach with one of our qualified Instructors. Our Surf Lessons is a great way for kids to learn the basic skills of surfing and how to handle themselves in the ocean. These Surf Lessons are suitable for kids aged 8 and over and they can join with the adult Group Surf Lessons or they can learn in a separate group. For Kids under 8 years old we would recommend a Private Kids Surf Lesson with one on one instruction.

Experience the beautiful Vietnamese coast and go for a snorkel on a Kayak & Snorkel Tour with our knowledgeable guides.

Our unique Kayak & Snorkel Tour, which last approximately 3 hours, allow you to actively enjoy and explore Da Nangs’ natural beauty without dedicating an entire day. This trip has a strong emphasis on fun and enjoyment. We will show you natural beauty and tranquility of kayaking along My Khe beach as you take in the sights and sounds of Da Nang from the water. We hope you will have a great time with a group of people in a beautiful area. Like all of our 1/2 day trips we paddle at a relaxed pace and pause often to enjoy views, stories and wildlife. We will begin at My Khe beach with an introduction to kayaking and the equipment in addition to a safety briefing. Our Instructor will show you how to use the paddle and kayak and demonstrate some basic kayaking strokes. After a 20 min warm-up period the group will head over to the island where we will go snorkeling around the small reef. A snack and some water will be provided. We will then begin to head back towards the start where they will do some kayaking games and races before returning to My Khe beach.

Kayak and Snorkel Tour Half Day

Learn how to surf on the the beautiful My Khe beach with one of our qualified Instructors on our 2 hour Private Surf Lesson.

Our Private Surf Lessons focus on teaching the skills of surfing and how to handle yourself and your surfboard in the ocean. Our Private Surf Lessons are limited to one or two people and are suitable for adults and kids aged 8 and over so its perfect for the whole family who want to learn how to surf!

Private Surf Lesson at My Khe Beach

Our Surf Taster Lesson is a One Hour Introduction to Surfing so that people can learn the basics. For our Surf Taster Lesson we'll start with an a short introduction to the equipment and some of the basic techniques on the beach for about 10 - 15 minutes where we'll give you information about the board, the waves and the techniques. We'll explain how to paddle, how to stand up and how to catch the waves. Before we go in the water we'll go through some safety tips and put on some sunblock.

After the learning the basics on the beach we will put them into practice out on the water for the next 50 minutes. In the water we'll help you to catch some nice small waves to get the feeling of what the board is doing and to get the hang of the timing to pop up. When this going well, we'll go a bit further out to catch some of the bigger waves. We will be right there in the waves with you the whole time helping you with instruction so that after the lesson you'll be surfing like a pro.

We'll have our lesson on My Khe Beach in front of the Holiday Beach Hotel where there are usually some nice sandbars with small waves which are great for beginners. If the waves are too big or unsuitable for doing lessons we will move to some of our other spots up the beach towards Son Tra Headland.

One Hour Taster Surf Lesson & Two hours Surfboard Rentals

Recreational kayaking is just like it sounds—relaxing! This is the type many of us do when we’re on a local lake, sea or slow river. Easy for beginners, easy for children…easy for anyone who can get into a kayak and paddle. Sea kayaks are ideal for touring because they’re long and narrow, often 14-18 feet.


What's Included:

We will provide a rash vest or a wetsuit and have all the necessary equipment - sit on top kayaks, paddles,waters, buoyancy aids for the tour.We will take pictures and videos of the tour on our gopro

What To Expect 

9:00AM:  Meet at the D.N.O.A Shop Meet up with the Instructor at the Da Nang Outdoor Adventures. Get your Paddles and Helmet. We will provide a rash vest or a wetsuit depending on the conditions . Make sure to put on some sun cream and wear a hat because it gets quite warm in Da Nang 

9:05AM;  Walk to the Beach We will take a short walk down to beach (about 5 minutes) to start the lesson . 

9:10 AM – 9:40AM:  Introduction to Kayaking We will do some warm up exercises and an introduction to Kayaking followed by a demonstration by the Instructor 

9:40AM – 10.50 AM: Short Trip & Kayaking Games! We will spend this time trying out some of the kayaking strokes before going on a short trip up the beach and finish with some raft games. 

10:55 AM : Return to the Shop After the lesson we will head back to the shop.

What You Can Expect:

We offer surf lessons for beginner and intermediate surfers. Our lessons will give customers the basics of surfing and surf lessons.

We are a friendly, full service surf shop with the best rental prices in Da Nang. Our lowest prices mean if this is your first time we’ll make it easy for you to get out in the ocean. We have shortboards to longboards in both soft top and hard top epoxy for rent. We have wetsuits and rash vests for all sizes including little ones. Come on down we’ll look after you in a low key casual environment.

Our surf lesson will cover all aspects of learning how to surf including an introduction to surfing and the equipment used. We will teach the basic surf techniques from the pop up on a board to paddling and how to catch a wave and surf safety. Our qualified instructor will demonstrate how to catch a wave before you hit the water and catch some great waves.
