- Charter without skipper - - Bareboat Rental Policy For bareboat rentals (without a skipper), it is mandatory to hold a valid navigation license. Additionally, a €1,500 security deposit must be provided at the time of rental. If a skipper is required, an additional fee of €95 will apply. - Skipper Portugal, based at the scenic Marina Vilamoura, offers premium yachting experiences aboard the versatile Clubman 21, a 2023 model by Joker Boat. This sleek RIB (rigid inflatable boat) spans 21 feet (6.5 meters) and accommodates up to 10 guests and 2 crew members, providing the perfect combination of comfort and adventure. Welcome aboard! The Skipper Portugal, our RIB, is all set to accompany you on your journey. Before we set sail, we'd like to ensure everything is arranged to your satisfaction. Could you kindly let us know if you'll require the services of a Skipper or if you possess a valid license for navigating Portuguese waters? If a Skipper is needed, our fee is 85 euros. Alternatively, if you have the requisite qualifications and won't be needing a Skipper, we'll request a refundable deposit of 1500 euros, pre-approved on your card. Please bear in mind that the cost of fuel is not included in the package. We'll provide the boat with a full tank, which will need refilling upon your return.
