The Charleston Battery is a landmark defensive seawall and promenade in Charleston. Named for a civil-war coastal defense artillery battery at the site, it stretches along the lower shores of the Charleston peninsula, bordered by the Ashley and Cooper Rivers which meet here to form the Charleston harbor. - • The Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge - The Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Cooper River connecting downtown to Mount Pleasant. It opened in 2005 replacing two obsolete cantilever truss bridges. The view of the bridge from the water especially at night is spectacular. - • Morris Island - Morris Island is an 840-acre uninhabited island in the Charleston Harbor, accessible only by boat. The island lies in the outer reaches of the harbor and was thus a strategic location in the American Civil War. Many people enjoy visiting the island to hunt for sea shells, sharks teeth and possibly uncover civil war artifacts. It is also well known for its red and white striped light house that serves as a beautiful backdrop for pictures. - • Lunch or Dinner Cruise - Lunch or Dinner Cruise options are plentiful with boat access to California Dreaming on Ashley River, Charleston Crab House on the Wappoo River, Wando River Grill on the Wando River and several options on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant. Enjoy a cruise on the water and no hassle access to a great meal from the water’s edge. Reservations recommended. Price of meal not included. - • Sunset Cruise - Sunset Cruise is a very popular option that offers an opportunity to soak in the beautiful Charleston horizon drenched in orange, pink and yellow hues. Enjoy a relaxing end to the day floating across the picturesque Charleston Harbor as the sun fades and the moon and stars appear. - • Bachelorette celebrations - Charleston is a popular destination for Bachelor and Bachelorette celebrations. What better way to make memories and capture them with photos from the boat. Bocce ball on the beach, swimming, sunbathing and great access to bars from the water.

Captain Barney was absolutely phenomenal! We booked this boat ride as part of a bachelorette trip and he was very accommodating throughout the trip, he thought of EVERYTHING for the ride and more. He was full of historical facts of the places we either stopped at or went by on the boat, which was perfect for our history loving bride. Captain Barney was a gentleman and we will definitely book with him again when we are back in town! THANK YOU CAPTAIN BARNEY!
