A full refund will be offered if cancellation occurs 5 days prior to the reservation date. If a cancellation occurs closer to 5 days prior to the reservation, a 50% refund will be given. In the event that dangerous weather (thunderstorms or extremely windy conditions) is experienced during your rental period, either a rebooking will be given OR a 50% refund will be given. It is advised to keep an eye on the forecast prior to your rental so rebooking can occur if severe weather appears apparent. There is no refund for late or no-show bookings. Keep in mind that kayaks can be dangerous, like any boating or water activity. Take caution to pay attention to your surroundings, the weather and water conditions, and always wear the provided life jacket. A security allowance maximum of $250 could be charged if the vessel is returned with catastrophic damage. Additional time to the rental (at original reservation rate), cleaning fees, replacement of lost or stolen equipment (paddles, life jacket, etc), damages, etc are all reasons in which the security allowance could be charged after the return of the rental. Communication with the renter will take place before any security allowance is taken/charged.
