Meeting point is after previous online booking of the sports field in pBraunsbach at 10: 45h. There you will meet with your trained canoe instructor and, where appropriate, other participants and receive both an introduction to the basic technique of paddling, the course and nature conservation as well as your equipment for your canoe trip. Downstream, it goes around 11: 30h on an approximately 4-hour tour with 5 weirs and extremely impressive river landscape. Return arrival in Braunsbach or Tour end is about 17: 00h. At the end point in Künzelsau, there is a Kocher beer garden right by the river. This tour is within walking distance of the campsite Braunsbach and is also suitable as a combination for a two-day tour in the Kocher Valley with overnight on the nature campsite or in the Gasthof zum Löwen in Braunsbach. If you stay overnight in Künzelsau on the campsite adjacent to the beer garden and Kocherfreibad, we can also offer you a pick-up before the tour around 10:10 am in Künzelsau and transfer to Braunsbach on a 10: 45h. The break for this tour is Kocherstetten. The first section there is mostly fluent, the second section of the canoe tour T1 mostly calm and jammed. At lower water levels between 40cm and 60cm at the level Kocherstetten a section on a hydroelectric power plant line (shallow water route) must be bypassed on the Kocher -Jagst-Radweg. For this you will receive a high-quality boat charter, if required, at no extra charge to comfortably master this section.
