Private Day Sail South Coast of P.R. - 6 people Price $680.00 6hrs tour ** 48 hours period is required to make a reservation ** Go sailing in the south coast of Puerto Rico and visit the protected waters of the second largest estuarine area of the Island, the Jobos Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (JBNERR). Voyage into the historic area aboard a beautiful well maintained 36-foot sailboat, with your own USCG Captain and first mate. Sail and explore Cayo Caribe and Ensenada Cayo Hondo or another tranquil anchorage, enjoy a private outing for up to six (6) guests to a secluded spot where you can jump in the water, go snorkeling or just relax. You can bring your own food and drinks to enjoy! We depart from the gorgeous town of Guayama at the docks of the Guayama Fishing Club, famous for its stunning sunset views. The departure dock in the town of Guayama is about an hour drive away from San Juan, through the amazing landscapes of the Cordillera Central, the main mountain range in Puerto Rico. Sail and explore around the Cayo Caribe and Cayo Hondo anchorages, explore, go snorkeling, relax or take a refreshing dip in the warm Caribbean waters. Duration: 6 hours Departure at 9:30 am and back on dock at 3:30 pm Protocol of Processes to Follow and Safety during the Private South Coast Charters Trips Day Sail The vessel is operated by a licensed captain of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for your safety and well-being. The boarding area is the location of the "Fishing Club" in Bo. Puerto Jobos, Guayama P.R., look for pin in Google maps. Driving time from San Juan Metro area approx. 55 min. Max guest capacity is 6 people, established by the U.S. Coast Guard and local regulations. The tour lasts about 6 hours leaving the pier approx. 9:30 The closest to 9:30 will be of benefit in enjoyment of the guests, the crossing to the chosen destination is approx. 1 HR. navigation (depends on wind and weather). The approx. return will begin at 2:30 and will be announced with a bugle sound. The return crossing is approx. one hour of navigation, with arrival at the pier approx. at 3:30 (again depending on the wind and weather). The boat has a sanitary service, which contains the gray water in a tank and grey water does not go the sea water, they are discharged as per local environmental regulations.
