Imagine cruising around Kawthoung, Myanmar! Charter a 51 ft Lagoon 500 "Meltemi" Cruising Catamaran for up to 8 people. Rates as low as $2,670 USD per night. Meltemi is named after a wind in the Mediterranean Sea. Meltemi is our first catamaran: a French-built Lagoon 500, one of the most successful yachts ever designed for high-end charter. Meltemi's previous owner was a Malay princess. In 2015, Meltemi joined Burma Boating's fleet for private charters and our Luxury Sailing Adventure cruises in Myanmar's Mergui Archipelago. Meltemi is easy to sail, all winches are electric and can be fully controlled from the large flybridge. Meltemi is a great yacht for groups of friends or families and there is lots of space to play or lounge. When under sail, most guests just love to lie in the nets at the bow with the water splashing below. Meltemi has 4 comfortable guest cabins, each with king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms and separate air-conditioning. The spacious owner's suite in the starboard hull has its own couch area and a large bathroom (or head, as they are called on boats). Meltemi bright, wooden interior gives a generous and modern feeling. Cabins are accessed through the central saloon, where the open kitchen (or galley) and the navigation station are located. Yacht is well equipped with 3 large fridges, an oven, a microwave, a water maker, sound and video entertainment systems, warm and cold water, etc. Boat Specifications: - Length: 51' - Beam: 28' - Draft: 4'7"' - Year launched: 2011 - Electricity: 12 V/220 V - Engines: 2 x Yanmar 75 HP - Water tank: 960 litres - Fuel tank: 960 litres - Dinghy: 12' with 15/30 HP - Stereo sound system - Water maker Accommodation & Entertainment: - 1 owner's suite cabin - 3 double cabins - Captain and crew quarters: 4 with separate washroom - Deck shower - Air-conditioner in the cabins and the saloon - Entertainment: television, VCR, CD player, DVD player - Kayak, fishing rods, snorkelling gear - Stand-up paddle board upon request - Dive equipment upon request Prices: • High Season (October - May): - 1-6 person: $2,670 USD/night - 7-8 person: $3,040 USD/night • Peak Season (23 December - 13 January): - 1-6 person: $3,160 USD/night - 7-8 person: $3,400 USD/night Deposit: - $850 USD
We organize sailing holidays in Burma (Myanmar), Andaman Islands (India) and Anambas Islands (Indonesia). You can do the sailing yourself or we can do it for you. You can go for 5 days or 5 weeks. And you can chill on empty beaches, drink at hand, or go race the dolphins. It’s your choice and it’s easy with us. We are a group of passionate sailors who were spellbound when we first sailed into Myanmar's waters. We discovered pristine islands, beautiful waters, and welcoming people. Right there and then, we decided to share these wonders. Between May and September, after the sailing season in Myanmar, we cruise along the Spice Route from Phuket to Borneo.
You’ll get directions to the departure location when you make a booking.
