This is a brand new 2023 Edgewater 280 CX. Depending on the itinerary and the adult/kid ration, the boat can accommodate anywhere from 4 to 10 passengers. Some key amenities include a full head that can be air conditioned, an impressively large cabin area, fore or aft tables, aft sunshade, twin Yamaha 300 HP motors with a top speed over 50mph, 8 speaker stereo with sub-woofer, refrigerator, microwave, grill, rod holders, live well, swim ladder, large fish box, and full bow seating or sun-pad. Itineraries will include light fishing, sandbar trips, dinners at pull-up restaurants, Tangier Island, sunset cruises, family tubing and water sports, or customize your trip. Boat can be boarded at various points on or near the Chesapeake Bay, or for an additional fee, can be trailered to an appropriate body of water such as Lake Gaston, Lake Anna, Smith Mountain Lake, Lake Chesdin, the James River, or Buggs Island/Kerr Reservoir. In the event of poor weather the Trip may be rebooked for a different date. Boat will accommodate up to 8 adults or 10 if adults and children under 18. A small dog who is familiar with boats may be accommodated. PRICING DETAILS: - Price does not include fuel, which will be charged at local marina prices for ethanol free gas. - Price does not include $2.00/mile for transportation of the vessel to your desired launch point. - Availability is contingent on the schedule of the Captain as this is currently a part time occupation. - Please message if your desired date does not show available. TRIP DETAILS: - Brooksy is not a hard core fishing vessel, though the Captain is happy to take families fishing. - In the event you want to go fishing, tackle, equipment, and bait can be made available. - 5 hour trips can include sunset cruises, wine and cheese cruises, restaurant trips, Tangier Island, Cape Charles, Virginia Beach, or Sandbar Trips. - Family fun days can include tubing, beach trips, shelling, fishing, dolphin watching, or all of the above. - There is an electric grill, microwave, and refrigerator on board.
