Fees Our charter rates start at $275/hour and include the vessel, licensed captain, ice, and fuel. Charter rate does not include taxes and fees. Cancellation Policy If you cancel your cruise 7 or more days prior to your scheduled departure, you will receive a full refund. We cannot provide refunds for cruises canceled with less than 7 days notice. We are a small, seasonal business and we only have four months to earn our revenue for the year. Weather Policy Sometimes we need to cancel cruises on Loon at the last minute because of bad weather. We know from experience that it is best to make the “go/no go” decision at the last minute. What was predicated to be a rainy day can suddenly have a good weather window for a couple of hours. If we cancel any cruise due to bad weather, you will be given the choice to either reschedule or receive a full refund, whichever you prefer. Restrictions Due to insurance restrictions we cannot allow swimming off the vessel. What to bring Attire & accessories - We recommend that you wear and/or bring attire that will keep you comfortable for your cruise. (It's usually a bit cooler out on the water.) Remember your camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, comfortable non-marking shoes (please, no high heels or heavy boots…sneakers or bare feet are fine). We provide comfortable seating (and plush blankets if it gets chilly!) Food & beverages We encourage you to bring your own food and beverages if you like. What kind of food? Think of it as a picnic on the water with foods that are easy to serve and consume in an informal setting. (Please keep in mind that we do not have reheating/re-warming options available on the vessel.) To make things really easy, we can highly recommend our friends at “Spot on the Dock” restaurant, located right at the marina. You can order directly through an app and, given adequate notice (usually 60 minutes or less), they can have your order ready in time for your cruise. But of course Burlington is a “foodie” town, so there are a lot of other options available to you. We provide fresh water, ice, and setups including plates, utensils, drink ware, napkins, serving ware, etc.
