The main square and promenade are always vibrant and jam-packed, but if you are willing to take a few steps away up the worn stairways, there is a whole different part of the town. Get lost through colorful narrow streets to feel its charm. Do not miss out on the visit of St. Stephen’s Cathedral and its square, Franciscan Monastery, Venetian loggia and the unbroken view from Spanjola Fortress. The views looking down over Hvar and the Pakleni Islands are stunning and well worth climbing up through the old-town streets. Leaving the port of Hvar and having an easy 15 minutes speedboat ride, we will reach uninhabited archipelago of Hvar’s coast, a mecca for nature lovers. One of the bays we are going to visit is Palmižana, situated on St. Klement Island.
