WHERE ARE WE ALLOWED TO GO? it's your choice! You are welcome to go and do anything you want as long as you are practicing the safety guidelines outlined in the FWC Motorboat Rental Safety Sheet. There is a link below and you will be provided a copy with your contract the day of your rental. Prior to your rental, read the FWC motorboat rental safety sheet using the link below: https://myfwc.com/media/30430/6d-8-motorboatsafetyposter.pdf FULL DAY RENTALS Full day rentals are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All of our rentals must be back at the fuel dock by 4pm or the renter will incur a charge of $50.00 per half hour. FOOD AND DRINKS You are welcome to bring food and drinks. SAFETY We provide all safety equipment and lifejackets. Children lifejackets available upon request. Please send your child’s approximate weight for proper fitting. FUEL Per Florida law, we cannot include fuel in the price. Therefore, fuel is not included and will be charged to your card once the trip is completed. Fuel fee is a $35 per hour. CHECK IN We will need you to arrive 20 minutes early to give you time to park and check in. We will also review all the safety equipment and the operations of the boat together and go over any questions you may have. AGE REQUIREMENTS The boat operator must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and possess general boating knowledge. If you are born before 1988, you are not required to take an online boaters safety course. If not or if you would like a refresher (recommended). DAMAGE POLICY If the vessel sustains any damages due to inappropriate use or operator error, the renter will be charged for all repairs, towing (if applicable). Itemized cost damages: Scratches and small damages (less than 3ft ) $100 Small / medium damages (less than 5ft) $200 Large damages (5-10ft) $300 Lost rope $20 Lost buey (fence) $40 Lost whistle $15 Seat damage $100 Steer cable damage $500 Propeller scratches and dings $100 Running out of fuel $300 If there are no damages, no lost equipment and the vessel is return on time, the security deposit will be refunded. MORE IMPORTANT DETAILS Please no smoking. No animals are allowed. Minimum booking rate of 4 hours. A waiver will be emailed to you the morning of your rental, please make sure to complete before boarding the boat or you're rental concierge will have a hard copy when you meet.
