Go fishing in Hoonah, Alaska aboard 35 feet  Sport Fishing Vessel for up to 6 people. Rate are $350 per person. Our boat comes with fishing gear, tackle, and bait. Rates:  • 3 hour: $350 per person min of 4 people    For a two person trip it's $700 each plus tax • 5 hour: $2750 for the boat privet tour Includes: • Transportation to/from your cruise ship or hotel • Fishing gear, tackle, bait • Fish cleaning • Arrangement for processing and shipping of fish • Bottled water • Snacks What You Can Expect: Halibut Fishing Hit the weight room lately? If not you may want to before dropping your line deep for this infamously large flat bottom fish, the Pacific Halibut. These barn doors range between 10-400+ pounds. Every summer they rise from ocean depths of over 1,000 feet to as little as 50 feet in search of bait fish to feast on in our local waters. Once hooked, these strong swimmers can provide a great challenge as they fight you back to the bottom. Depending on where the halibut are, we typically fish in depths ranging from 100-400 feet. It’s also possible to pick up rockfish, cod, flounder and other fun creatures while fishing at these depths. The regulations for the size and amount of halibut each person is allowed to retain on a charter change each year.  Each person is allowed one halibut up to 50 inch's long per day. What To Expect Onboard: The boat is a custom aluminum catamaran made by Munson Co Inc and fully-equipped with all available safety gear.  The boat has a heated cabin with comfortable seating for all and restroom available for use. We limit tours to 6 people which allows for an intimate experience of  Southeast Alaska wildlife and scenery.   The Silver Spoon is equipped with large windows and complete walk-around decks which provides a unobstructed 360 degree viewing of the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska. The heated cabin, full bathroom, cushioned seating, table, sink, will keep you comfortable on the water. Importantly, "Silver Spoon" exceeds the United States Coast Guard safety standards. Navigation equipment includes GPS, radar, depth finder, chart plotter, and two VHF radios, ensuring safety. We provide quality halibut fishing tackle, rods, and reels.
