Gas: $15 PER HOUR CAPTAIN FEE $35 PER HOUR (If using our captain) $100 security deposit not charged by the GetMyBoat platform unless there’s damage to the boat. Larger security deposit required the day of the trip if renting without a captain. Frequently Asked Questions 1- Do you require a security deposit? The security deposit is $100 (No charge will be made unless there is damage or a broken contractual agreement such as a cleaning charge of $40 if the boat is returned excessively messy. 2- What is the security deposit when renting without a captain The security deposit of $500 will be collected the day of the trip. The deposit will be returned at the end of the trip when the boat is returned without damage. 3- What is your payment policy Payments are made in full through the GetMyBoat platform when making a reservation.. 4- Are there any other fees $15 hourly gas fee. If one of our captains is required, there is a $35 hourly fee 5- What is your Cancellation / Refund Policy? If the client cancels the booking within 5 calendar days of the trip date, the client will get a refund of 100% of the total booking price. If the Client cancels the booking with less than 5 calendar days of the trip date, client forfeits the entire booking price. Client can reschedule the trip due to poor weather conditions, even within the 5 days prior to the trip date, if it meets the criteria (non-gusting winds in excess of 25 mph and/or 80% chance of thunderstorms as defined by NOAA) in which case client may reschedule the trip within 90 days upon same terms with no penalty or receive a refund. (definition of bad weather •Heavy rain/High winds/Storm= Bad weather •Light rain or cloudy sky= Is not considered bad weather) We understand that trips are booked with the expectation of sunshine. If the sea conditions are safe where a charter or rental can still occur, canceling due to unsatisfactory weather does not necessarily mean that a refund is warranted. 6- What if the boat gets damaged? You will be assuming full financial responsibility for any damage that may occur and those assessed damages will be charged to you. 7- What is the minimum age to captain the boat myself? Rentals are limited to adults age 21 and older with a valid Driver's License and sufficient boating experience. If born on or after January 1, 1988 you must have a valid Florida Boaters Safety ID & a valid auto driver’s license. We reserve the right to limit or refuse service to those who, in our sole opinion, may present a danger to themselves or others. 8- Boat Restrictions The Pontoon Boats are to be used on the Intracoastal waterways only. It cannot be taken to the ocean under any circumstances. 9- What is the occupancy limit of your boat? As per US COAST GUARD, maximum capacity is 13 persons, no exceptions. We regret that we cannot allow you to switch passengers during your trip or allow you to have other extra visitors on your boat. 10- Can I pull the boat up on the shore/beach? If renting without one of our captains shoring the boat is not allowed. You must anchor off-shore. Stay away from shallow waters and rocks otherwise It will damage bottom paint of the boat and the propeller. Please do not shore on islands and beaches!
