Originally from Long Island New York, I spent many a summer scavenging the beaches obsessed by the marine ecosystems so many take for granted. For well over 30 years I have been interested with everything above and below the water line. Having a Marine Biologist in the family influenced me to join a marine summer program that taught both marine science and sailing, the rest is history. I quickly became fixture at the a small private school that educated young people about not only Marine Science but also sailing. Every summer I attended the Stony Brook school quickly learning that the best way to view marine life was from small sail boats that enabled me to get to remote locations on the island to collect and study the tiny creatures. At the age of 16 I received my first Captains license enabling to work at the same school that had taught me so much about marine life, sailing, and seamanship. Seeing the opportunity to grow the program into something more, my mentor and sailing coach encouraged me to grow the program from a 12 student program to over 120 students, amassing a mere 30 boats ranging in size from 12 ft all the way to small keelboat sailing in order to bring my passion to countless others. The year after college I was offered full-time employed at the school year round and became head sailing coach. After organizing a class trip to Nassau Bahamas to teach a group of high school students tropical reef ecology where we chartered a 65ft sloop to take us to various sites through out the bahamas studying the different ecosystems as we traveled the pristine waters. Seeing that the crew working onboard were all my age I decided then and there that I was going to get involved in now what we call the yachting industry. I have found my true passion and have continued doing this ever since eventually opening thus yacht management company to continue assisting both yacht crew and yacht owners.

Your yacht will be stocked with waters, soft drinks, and ice for your charter. If the client chooses, they can always bring their own food and beverages for their charter, or you can have our Management arrange to have food and beverages delivered to your yacht prior to embarkation. Another option is to have a chef onboard for the charter that can prepare meals for the guests while on charter. Prior to a charter, clients will fill out a preference form so that the boat will be provisioned exactly to their specifications, and if they choose to hire a chef, him/or her will be able to prepare a menu for guests in advance of your charter for you to review and approve. - We offer luxury concierge services for all charter clients which include organizing special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or corporate events and retreats. - Partnered with other service-based companies we can offer clients reprovisioning, prepared picnic lunches or dinners onboard, we can even arrange for a private chef to prepare meals onboard. DEPOSIT POLICY Full payment is due at booking. Dates/times can be changed when you notify us in writing of your request >30 days before the sailing date. This will allow us time to sell your original slot to someone else. WEATHER/CANCELLATION POLICY Florida weather is inconsistent, with many “passing showers” so for that reason we have a no persistent rain and small craft advisory policy, so we do not set sail if it is consistently raining or a forecast constant rain >15 minutes is imminent in the forecast. We observe strict weather monitoring procedures because we do care about our client’s safety as well as the vessels, so we will not set sail in unsafe weather and during any small craft advisory. We will generally make those decisions 2-hours before sailing time. If our captain decides not to set sail that day, due to rain or if a small craft advisory is in effect, you will have the option to receive a rain date. We will apply your payment and you will receive that credit to sail again within the next 28 months. Once a client books a boat, we notify all subsequent inquiries that “the boat is unavailable and taken”, so for this reason we do not offer any refund on cancellations. If you cancel a reservation greater than 30 days away, we do allow a no-cost change of date. Inclement weather as stated above is the sole reason for a cancellation. Can I set my own schedule? Blackout dates? Etc. Yes. You can choose to have access to your boat whenever you want. The company will never require you to make the boat available. Bookings and the amount of money you make will be directly affected by the availability, of course. What if my boat breaks down or has mechanical issues? Boat Owners are responsible for mechanical upkeep and fixes. Normal wear and tear as a result of the boats age, hours, usage, etc are the sole responsibility of the owners. Boats break… we all know the saying(s). However, one of the many advantages to chartering your boat with an experienced and Licensed Captain is having the extra set of eyes and ears on board the boat frequently. Your Captains will report anything they notice from small cosmetic fixes to early detections of potentially troublesome mechanical issues. Catching something early can result in significant financial savings. What if my boat is damaged on charter? Passengers (aka Renters or Charterers) are responsible for cosmetic damage caused to the interior and/or exterior of the boat in most circumstances up to the amount of their security deposit. In some cases, if the captain was grossly negligent, the captain may be responsible for damages to the boat. However, in most cases, the boat owner is responsible for damage to the vessel and the company highly recommends that a charter policy be always in place when using our Services. The company is not a party to the charter and acts as the broker of record only. We are not responsible for damage to the vessel in any way. Captains on your roster are Freelance Captains, not employees. And by having a Captain on your roster, you are approving that Captain to be selected by the Charterer (customer) for hire to operate the vessel for charter operations. We ask that customers are cautious and respectful to your boat and every customer signs off on our Code of Conduct, Charter Agreement, Rules, Waiver, and Captain Services Agreement (when applicable). - Your Charter begins at the time selected and ends promptly at the time selected to complete the charter. If you are late without communication to the crew that time will be forfeited - If you cancel your charter the same day there are NO refunds unless its an "Act of God" - No Shoes are to be worn onboard - NO Red Wine - 100% 0 Tolerance vessel when it comes to drugs - No Pets allowed onboard - No smoking - No open flames - No spray-on Tanning lotion - Obey the Captain at ALL times
