You'll need a valid government issued drivers license and a matching credit card (be sure to bring with you on the boat) - Born after 1/1/1988? You'll need a valid government issued drivers license, matching credit card, AND a valid Florida boaters safety course certificate. Not sure where to get this? Just ask and we'll be happy to help! Be sure to bring with you on the boat. ADD-ON'S: Want to elevate your experience? Add a 3 person tube ($30) or 6' X 15' Float Mat ($50) for rent, or standup paddle board ($99) to your rental. We also offer waterproof underwater phone cases ($10/EA). Just mention it in the notes section so we can add it to the offer. AFTER BOOKING ON GETMYBOAT (IMPORTANT NEXT STEPS): We partner with getmyboat for bookings. After completing your reservation on getmyboat, you'll receive an email confirmation from Off the Hook Boating with links to complete: - 1.) BOAT RENTAL AGREEMENT - This document is separate from getmyboat. It outlines the terms and conditions of your boat rental and must be completed prior to your departure date by person making the reservation and the operator of the vessel if they are different. - 2.) LIABILITY WAIVERS - Required for ALL passengers (no boarding without it). The form is electronic and should be completed by each passenger. Feel free to share the link located in your Off the Hook Boating email confirmation. - 3.) BUOYS RENTERS INSURANCE - In accordance with Florida boating regulations, it is MANDATORY that all renters and operators of the boat be offered renters insurance to either PURCHASE OR DECLINE coverage. The law requires that even if you decline purchasing the insurance, you must complete the form. We strongly recommend taking care of these documents in advance to avoid any delays on the day of your rental. If your do not have your paperwork completed, your rental time is not extended. ADDITIONAL INFO: - The boat will be given to you with a full tank of gas. Fuel cost is not included in the rental price and is charged @ $5.50/gallon used upon return of the vessel - We love furry friends but our upholstery does not so unfortunately, we do not allow them on the boats - Have a private dock? Ask us about our long-term rental options! - Looking for a captain? We do not offer captain services ourselves but we do have a great network of licensed captains and would be happy to give you their contact info for availability and pricing. DAY OF RESERVATION INSTRUCTIONS: ARRIVAL TIME: Please plan to arrive 15 - 20 minutes prior to your reservation start time and head to the launch area where your boat will be waiting in the water. Please wait until myself (Klaus) or another member of my team greets you before entering the boat. Once the entire party arrives, I will orient you with the boat, go over important safety information, and have you complete a pre-ride safety inspection checklist. No one is allowed on the boat without first completing the liability waiver. LAUNCH POINT: Centennial Boat Launch located in Downtown Sarasota. Minutes north of the Ritz Carlton, across the street from Publix and Van Wezel. PARKING: There is limited, paid parking at Centennial park. Do not park in trailer-designated spaces.
