Tipping: This is a common question, so we’d like to clarify: We do NOT include an automatic tip in our charges, as we believe that’s unfair. You are not obligated to tip. However, if you feel you received excellent service, the industry standard for boating is a 20% tip based on the charter price. The crew puts in extra hours to ensure the boat is prepared in the morning and cleaned at the end of the day. Please note; our vessel is structured as a Demise Charter, which is often referred to as a Captain Operated Bareboat Charter. This allows us to legally carry up to 12 passengers. The crew fee is $125 per hour and itemized and paid separately from the yacht charter, and includes a captain and 1st mate. The crew fee is paid directly to the crew of your choosing the day of the trip. Choose from the list of licensed and approved Captains who can operate the vessel; Captain Sean, Capt. Al, Capt. Mike, or Capt. Matt. Okaloosa County 7% sales tax is added to the boat charter rental. Fuel is an additional $10 with the prepaid plan for most trips.
