Sail Away on Our Passion: Your 42-Foot Pearson for a Day or Weekend Adventure

Our sailboat, a 42-foot Pearson 422 named Our Passion, is captained and crewed by a couple in their 40s. Both are USCG-licensed 25-ton captains, current on all first aid training, Red Cross-certified lifeguards, and have advanced survival at sea training. Book this awesome sailboat for $150 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum booking. Our passion is sailing and showing people a good time on the water, which is why we named our boat Our Passion. Sit in the shade in our protected cockpit or feel the breeze in your hair on the bow or stern seating areas. The boat has a stern platform with a ladder that is the perfect height to let your feet touch the water or to climb back aboard. Always accompanying the big boat is a hard-bottomed, flat-floored inflatable dinghy for exploring shallow areas, visiting beaches, or going ashore to explore islands. We sail out of Mattapoisett, New Bedford, and Dartmouth (Padanaram), as well as Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, and Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, and all points in between. We offer day sails around the bay, day and overnight trips to Cuttyhunk, and trips to Martha’s Vineyard. We also offer sunset sails and full moon rises. We can visit and land at secluded private beaches and choose the right one based on what you want to do that day (walk, sunbathe, or swim). We can make arrangements to craft the ultimate sailing adventure based on your family or group’s desires. With over 40 years of sailing experience between the two of us, we know Buzzards Bay and Vineyard Sound very well. We also offer lessons in basic sailing, big boat sailing, or boat ownership. We take our guests’ safety and enjoyment of their time with us as our top priority.
