Celebrating 5 Years Of Adventure Tours In Ålesund! We discovered Ålesund’s outdoor adventure potential back in 2014; then proceeded to design and lead Ålesund’s first ever adventure day trips. ‘The Tour of the Art Nouveau Archipelago’ either sea kayaking or SUPing, is the original adventure day trip from 2014; now, 5 years later we have designed several more sea kayak and SUP trips as well we have designed a couple of bicycle day trips. Heading into our sixth season in 2019 we have the largest selection of day adventures in the city. For 2019 we have made some improvements to our Ålesund operations; to better serve our guests. We have included a door to door pick-up/drop-off service, where our driver picks you up for your tour at either your chosen accommodation or the cruise ship terminal for the short drive to our new open-air launching site, which, has received only rave reviews plus it gets you right out on tour. THE FJORDS, ISLANDS & SOUNDS ROUTE A Circum navigation, Keep Ålesund on your Left! Escape the city! Borgund Fjord, keeping the southern city sights, sounds & smells on our left we paddle its glistening waters; floating through Nørve Sound to the entrance of Ellingsøyfjord with its fairy tale islands. We Enjoy a wholesome picnic lunch on a lush green island seemingly miles from urbanization. Jumping on the water again heading west with Ålesund still on our left we complete our circumnavigation passing by her northern harbour guarded by its 175-year-old navigational beacon and the last remaining buildings of Old Ålesund, we seek out the Asp Island bridge the entrance to Ålesund’s Southern harbour. Our kayaks glide easily through the harbour, past a 103-year-old historical landmark, and on towards our take-out point; finally, with the city’s southern skyline chiseled on a seemingly painted backdrop of the majestic Sunnmøre Alps our landing site comes into view. • Duration: 6 Hours • Level of Difficulty: Moderate Tour Price: • Adults: (ages 13 and older): €220 (per adult) • Children: (ages 12 and younger): €175 (per child) If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay.
