Weather Cancellation Policy • Weather-Related Cancellations: Safety is our priority. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain or local authorities (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds, heavy rain), the rental may be rescheduled or canceled with a full refund. • Notification: The renter will be notified as soon as possible if the rental needs to be canceled or rescheduled due to weather conditions. Late or No-Show Bookings • Late Arrivals: Renters must arrive at the agreed-upon time. A grace period of 15 minutes will be provided. After the grace period, the rental duration may be shortened accordingly. • No-Shows: If the renter does not show up within 30 minutes of the agreed start time and has not communicated a delay, the rental will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided. • Early Returns: If the renter returns the boat early, no refund will be provided for the unused time. Safety Considerations - • Life Jackets: Life jackets are mandatory for all passengers and will be provided (except for children). All passengers must wear life jackets at all times while on the boat. • Safety Briefing: A safety briefing will be conducted before departure, covering emergency procedures, use of safety equipment, and general boating safety rules. • Max Capacity: Adherence to the maximum capacity of the boat is mandatory. Overloading the boat is not allowed and will result in termination of the rental with no refund. Boat Rules • Operation: Only the renter or a designated, pre-approved individual is allowed to operate the boat. • Alcohol and Drugs: Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. • Cleanliness: Renters are responsible for keeping the boat clean. A cleaning fee may be applied if the boat is returned excessively dirty. • Damage: Renters are responsible for any damage caused to the boat during the rental period. A security deposit may be required and will be used to cover any damages. • Fishing: If fishing is allowed, ensure to follow all local regulations and have the necessary permits. • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made [specific timeframe, 48 hours before the rental date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours will forfeit the deposit.
