Frequently Asked Questions How many people does your yacht hold? We are Coast Guard Certified to hold 45 passengers and that includes infants and children. What is your typical cruising route? Upon leaving Burnham Harbor we head north towards Navy Pier going past the planetarium, shed aquarium just after viewing the Museum Campus area. Then were on to Chicago’s Famous Skyline, Buckingham Fountain and after a brief pause to see the fountain we will head further North towards North Avenue Beach passing navy pier and go through Chicago famous “playpen” and turn back towards Burnham Harbor. If you would like to do a river cruise there would be an extra fee and you would have to let us know prior to booking. What is your cancellation policy? Full payment is forfeited should the client, for any reason, decide to cancel. A number of passengers cannot be decreased, however, the number of passengers can be increased at an additional charge. IF the yacht is unable to depart the dock due to weather and/or lake conditions the event will proceed at the dock, or we can offer a reschedule. Weather condition options to be determined by the captain of Adeline’s Sea Moose. What types of events can be hosted on the yacht? Anything you can think of! Corporate luncheons, client thank yous, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, quinceaneras, family outings, memorial services, post-proms, bachelor and bachelorette parties, fireworks cruises, and architectural tours. The possibilities are endless…. Is there a Captain and crew? Yes. All our yacht charter cruises are fully crewed with Captain, Deckhands and full serving staff as needed. Can I bring my own food? Yes, for hourly cruises or charters you can BYO food, have food delivered to you at the dock or have it lightly catered. Additional “galley” fees are charged for any of these options. Can I bring my own alcohol? No, we have a liquor license and would need to provide all beverages. We have a variety of packages available and can custom build a bar package, too. Make sure to take a look at our listing images for the bar packages. Can I swim? Unfortunately, no. We no longer offer swimming packages as our insurance no longer covers people swimming from the yacht.
