Paddleboard Tour/Lesson @ Oak Hollow Lake, High-Point, NC

Lessons/Tours (lake) Get out on the water, on a stable stand-up paddleboard ("SUP") with local lessons, tours and activities on beautiful Lake Belews. Our 2-hour sessions provide you instruction on specific SUP common sense, multiple SUP navigation skills and a joyful SUP on-water experience. You'll learn to safely carry, stand, kneel, balance, paddle, turn... and smile.  And you'll gain an understanding for the various types and styles of recreational ECO-friendly paddleboards. Like riding a bike; once you learn, you'll be a SUP-er for the rest of your life! We'll provide your required life vest, ankle strap, paddle and board. You should consider bringing water shoes, seasonally available at Dollar stores, Walmart and Target.  Sunscreen and sun glasses are also a plus. Friday Night Lights! $69 Seasoned paddlers only.  Here's why:  You'll experience one of the coolest nighttime on-water events you've never heard of. Beginning at 7:30PM (after supper) and going till well after dark, we launch boards outfitted with underwater illumination. Crazy, right?
